Panamanian Geisha - Cordillera Chiriquí 1800MASL

This time I want to offer you a coffee whose cup delivers an elevated exotic nature: the Geisha Variety. It was found in the peaks of the Great Ethiopian Massif near the town of Gecha in the 1930's. She traveled to Tanzania and from there to Costa Rica where for phonetic reasons she was baptized "geisha." In 1965 the variety arrived in Boquete but was not widely accepted due to its poor resistance to diseases and low productivity. It finally debuted in the Best of Panama competition in 2005 and dazzled the world with its delicate flavor and delicious fruity and floral notes. Our Geishas are chosen from the most exotic cups of the Panamanian Highlands.
